Antimicrobial efficacy testing

Badanie aktywności przeciwbakteryjnej/przeciwgrzybowej

We have a set of standard microorganisms from international and Polish collections - PCM, DSM, CCM, ATCC. These are gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, bacterial strains with dangerous mechanisms of drug resistance (MRSA, HLAR, ESBL and others), yeast-like fungi, mold fungi and dermatophytes. We help in the selection of strains for research and research method.

Evaluation of activity against Cutibacterium

In our research, we use cutibacterium acnes model strains as well as strains isolated from a healthy microbiome and from acne lesions.

Study of antifungal activity against the most common pathogens responsible for mycosis of smooth and hairy skin, nails and mucous membranes.

In our research, we use model strains of the genus Candida, Malassezia, Scopulariopsis and Aspergillus. The selection of strains for testing depends on the form and method of application of the preparation.

Study of the antimicrobial activity of oral care preparations

In the study, we use strains of microorganisms responsible for: the formation of carious lesions (Streptococcus genus), periodontal diseases (Porphyromonas genus) and mucosal yeast infection (Candida genus).

Testing the antibacterial activity of preparations for the skin of the feet, hands and nail apparatus

In the study, we use model strains isolated from clinical material: Pseudomonas aeuriginosa, Staphylococcus aurerus and gram-negative bacteria most often responsible for this type of disease.

Microbiome research

The test is performed in accordance with the recommendations contained in the following documents: Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council 2 (EC) No 1223/2009 of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products, Cosmetics Europe - The Personal Care Association Guidelines Product Test Guidelines for the Assessment of Human Skin Compatibility 1997, Cosmetics Europe - The Personal Care Association Guidelines for the Evaluation of the Efficacy of Cosmetic Products 2008.
