The organisation introduces and regularly updates standards that restrict the use of certain ingredients or ban them altogether. <strong>IFRA certification<\/strong> confirms that the fragrance composition complies with the applicable guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Safe substances<\/strong> fragrances are the basis for the responsible production of cosmetics - whether for daily care or luxury perfumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"51_poprawka_IFRA_%E2%80%93_jakie_zmiany_wprowadzila\"><\/span>The 51st IFRA amendment - what changes did it make?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Introduced <strong>51 IFRA amendment<\/strong> has brought a number of changes that significantly affect the fragrance formulations. Both of these substances are naturally present in many essential oils and have a pleasant floral and spicy aroma. However, their use is associated with certain risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Skin contact can lead to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>irritation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>allergic rashes,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and, in extreme cases, to inflammatory reactions.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Both substances - <strong>eugenol and geraniol<\/strong> - have been included in the 51st IFRA Amendment, resulting in stricter limits on their use in various consumer products.
