Their legal status can be questionable - especially when the active ingredients have a strong physiological effect or the form is more like a medicine than a cosmetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the context of EU regulations, the declared purpose of use - if the product is intended to affect the functioning of the body - is crucial, <strong>may be considered a medicinal product<\/strong>.
